Degas is a commercial diver training centre in Katowice, operating since 2004, preparing people for paid underwater work. Its courses (Class III Diver, Diving Systems Operator, Underwater Works Supervisor, ROV Operator and UDT qualifications) end with a state exam at the Maritime Office in Gdynia under the Underwater Works Act. The centre has its own pool facility in Pszczyna, a decompression chamber and a laboratory.
The site takes trainees through six courses with hours of theory and practice, highlights the state qualifications and in-house facilities, and 'Ask about dates' buttons lead straight to enrolment. The layout is dark with orange accents and a large hero photo of a commercial diver.
